Once a source image/sitting has been discussed and a size, medium and price agreed on, I request that 20% of the fee be paid up front before I begin. This deposit is non refundable and covers costs for materials and preliminary sketches.
Paintings usually take up to two weeks for watercolours and up to six weeks for oils. This time frame can be quite flexible, if you need a painting completed for a certain date then please let me know.
Once the painting is completed I will forward you a picture of the finished piece for your approval. I can also arrange for the piece to be framed if required.
Once I have received payment in full I will then send the finished piece to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Commissioning a painting can be a daunting prospect, especially if it is not something that you have done before. For your peace of mind,
if you are not absolutely satisfied with the finished piece you are under no obligation to buy it.
